The Eye of Suffering is a sacred eye once used by Noah. During the Flood, Noah supposedly used it to control the fear of those on his Arc and his own fear. The current possessor, Riza Akaike has bypassed the usual limits of the Eye and has even used it for mind-control, as demonstrated when she used the latter to separate Road from Lero after he scolded her for her affections for Allen.
